In a general body meeting held in 2004 inviting all the local people, from our long-cherished dream, we planned to undertake a major developmental project for the overall upliftment of the social life of the local people. The following were considered to be important by the newly constituted development committee:-

1. Football Ground
2. Children Park
3. Volleyball Ground
4. Students’ Library with study room
5. Merit Scholarship for economically backward students
6. Swimming Pool
7. Gymnasium
8. Community Hall

All the above projects will be executed within our premises called “VIVEKANANDA SPORTS & CULTURAL COMPLEX”.

Out of the above, in the year 2005, we had successfully completed the Children Park & Football Ground, in the year 2006 completed the Volleyball Ground and Vivekananda Park.

During November, 2008, we had inagurated and opened to the public the 1st Phase of STUDENTS’ LIBRARY. As and when we can arrange for 2nd phase work i.e. a Study Centre, Free Coaching Centre and Computer Learning Centre.

In the year 2009, we had started a very significant project i.e. VIVEK MERIT SCHOLARSHIP for the meritorious and economically-challenged students of HOWRAH DISTRICT ONLY (scoring 90% marks in aggregate) which will cover all their educational expenses throughout the year.

In the year 2012, we have undertaken one more new project i.e. COMMUNITY CENTRE which will have a Big Hall, Dressing Room and Office Room. This is to be utilised for our well-reputed KARATE COACHING CENTRE, YOGA COACHING CENTRES and holding various meetings, seminar, conference and small cultural programmes of the organisation.
