1. One of our regular and important activities in last 15 years include conducting of Drawing Classes for the young minds.

2. 12th January - Celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary

3. 23rd January - Celebration of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s Birth Anniversary, Seat & Draw Competition.

4. 26th January - Republic Day Celebration

5. 15th August - Independence Day Celebration

6. In the month of May-June - Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti.

7. Saraswati Puja.

In the year 2004, we had organised a grand celebration in 142nd anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with the following programmes :

a) Blood Donation Camp for the aid of patients of Thakurpukur Cancer Hospital.
b) “Sanghati Daur” (Harmony Run)
c) Installation of Statue of Swami Vivekananda by Mr. Md. Salim, the then Hon’ble Minister of Govt. of West Bengal.
d) ”Speeches” on Swamiji by Hon’ble Minister Mr. Md. Salim, Mr. Baharuddin of Aajkal Patrika and other eminent personalities.
e) Cultural Programme (Song – Mr. Ramkumar Chatterjee, Mrs. Bratati Mazumdar, Recitation – Mr. Satinath Mukherjee, Mrs. Saswati Pal and others).

In the year 2005, we had organised a large “Sampriti Padayatra” (Walk for peace) on the occasion of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s Birth Anniversary :-

a) March Past
b) Tabaloes displaying peace and harmony of the country.
c) Band Procession
d) Live Recitation/Singing Poetic Songs in the procession.
e) Speeches by the eminent personalities

In the year 2008, we had opened “Vivekananda Public Library & Study Centre” with the following programme :-

a) In the morning giving quilt to the poor people.
b) Inaguration by Shri Soumitra Chattopadhyay, eminent Film Personality.
c) Speeches by eminent guests on the usefulness of library.
d) In the evening, cultural programme performed by BHOOMI & Ms. JOJO.
